Eventually, the families become tired of living in tents, and a home is finally built!

and becomes pregnant!

Sadly, he soon grows ill, and they fear the worst. He insists in not seeing anyone except maybe Makayla, who is the doctor of the house. Makayla tells no one, but knows that he has the sickness that started the apocalypse and the war in the first place. There is no cure.
Cameron asks one of her friends to move in with them, and she accepts.
She apparently has a boyfriend, and then, on that same day, moves out to be closer to him.
Both of the boys age up in the middle of the night, Avin with the evil trait, because of his father's illness, and Brandon with the goofball trait. This is Brandon:
